How can you pray for us?

"Prayer does not equip us for the greater work—prayer is the greater work." Oswald Chambers

We are going to Japan primarily to learn and to pray. We know we cannot do this ministry without a team of people praying for and with us. May we ask you to pray six things for us?
  1. It is not uncommon for prayer teams to experience an even greater level of spiritual opposition before and during their prayer journey. Pray for spiritual and physical protection for each member. Pray against the evil one's schemes to place barriers in the way of effective prayer ministry.
  2. Pray that each member would learn what God wants them to learn about themselves, about the needs of the Japanese, and about Himself.
  3. Pray for God to direct our steps each moment of each day, and for "divine appointments" to encourage people we meet to look to Jesus as their Savior and Lord.
  4. Pray for strength and stamina each day as we spend long days traveling around Tokyo visiting ministries, taking time to pray for each one as we go.
  5. Pray for flexibility and good team dynamics, that we would support and encourage each other as we encounter new challenges.
  6. For safe and uncomplicated travel to Japan on September 25th for Bryan and Jan (we will go ahead to prepare for the team), and September 28th for the remaining team members.

Thanking God for your willingness to go and be His hands and feet. Excited for Liz and Jake and the experiences you will encounter each and every day. Asking God to protect you and bless your time with Him and the people of Tokyo. Love you!!!

  2. Lifting up many prayers for all of these requests, and especially that each team member would be rooted and grounded in God's extravagant love, and have the "strength to comprehend" all the dimensions of His love for each of you and each person you come into contact with. Shalom, Barb Sanders
